National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, September 30th, 2021

Today, Alchemy Communications is recognizing, acknowledging, and honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Reconciliation is a process of facing the past with honesty, of understanding the harm that has been done and continues to be done, and of undertaking meaningful commitment to action.

Reconciliation is a complex, continuous, and ongoing process. Reconciliation is the responsibility of every Canadian, and it takes all of us to stand together in solidarity, support and celebration of First Nation, Inuit, and Métis communities.

At Alchemy Communications, we have committed to an internal process of learning, reflection, action, and investment on our own personal and company journey of reconciliation. We recognize the process of coming into right relations will not be an easy one, and we will make mistakes, but we commit to staying humble and open.

We thank the traditional caretakers and knowledge keepers of this land and all of the community members and activists who have worked to bring these issues to light for all Canadians. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make amends.

We look forward to keeping our community updated on our own internal process, and we encourage all Canadians to act, donate, reflect, listen, and learn.
