Shone Thistle brings more than two decades of thoughtful leadership, artful communication and strategic fundraising to their role as Business Development Director.

As a Certified Fundraising Executive and a professional spoken word artist, Shone loves working with business and community leaders to enhance their storytelling practices.

Shone's track record of leadership and fundraising success includes more than $150M raised to support poverty reduction, domestic violence prevention, arts and culture in Calgary.

Born on the unceded lands of the Lekwungen peoples, in Victoria, British Columbia, Calgary has been their home for nearly 25 years. They are grateful to the original peoples of this territory and to those elders and knowledge keepers they've had the opportunity to learn from so far. When Shone isn’t building the Alchemy community of partnerships they can be found walking their dog, hanging with family and friends, or practicing their creative passions at home in Bowness.
